Hi Germi,

A few days ago, I registered and bought and then iinstalled Music Collection-Community-Pro for Joomla 3.x.
After reading your documentation, I still cant get things to work the way I expect.
(1) My mp4 videos and mp3 audio files are all stored in Amazon S3 buckets and are distributed by Amazon Cloudfront CDN.
eg. http://www.kepidi.com/index.php/mp4-music-videos/96-mp4-music/361-sitolia-gloria-muliro">http://www.kepidi.com/index.php/mp4-music-videos/96-mp4-music/361-sitolia-gloria-muliro and http://d2sxpls5mqivn.cloudfront.net/gloria sitolia.mp4
For my MC, I need to add videos and audios that are stored in this location and I also need my website viewers to be able to add these videos/audios to their playlists from the front end.
(2) My website http://www.kepidi.com uses both Flowplayer and JWPlayer 6.7. See this link for JWPlayer 6.7 : http://www.kepidi.com/index.php/testmp4jw001
Will Music Collection work with JW Player 6.7?
Assuming that I can link to my videos/audios in Amazon S3, do you have a step by step guide to help me in creating the required modules and adding artiists, albums, videos and audios to my website and especially managing the playlists.
(3) If MC cannot link take content from Amazon S3/Cloudfront, is it possible to come up with a workaround?

Regards
James

    hello

    1) if ALL your songs start with this URL, then YES, you can set "songs server" to "http://d2sxpls5mqivn.cloudfront.net/", you can set songs folder EMPTY, and then the song path will be "gloria sitolia.mp4"

    Germinal Camps,

    (1) What value should I put in the Songs Server position? Is this acceptable: http://d2sxpls5mqivn.cloudfront.net/
Is the same value acceptable for Songs Folder, since all video contents are in one S3 bucket.
NB: http://d2sxpls5mqivn.cloudfront.net/ is the Cloudfront download distribution pointing to the S3 bucket containing my content.

    hi,

    1. ok.. what's the question?

    2. no, you must use the jwplayer plugin we provide (which, at the moment, uses jwplayer 5, not 6)

    3. to add songs should be quite straigforward: you just click "new" on the albums view, and you will see the form and a SONGS tab, where you can add the songs. there is where you have to manually set the songs (that is, to "point" to your songs location
