Okay so when you click on an artist or an album it takes you to a page that gives me an error because it's not putting the domain name in front of the url. So where do I go to add the domain name so this thing will click on the link and go to the page.

Yeah I fixed it the modules needs id number form menu to work correctly. How do I change the search input to be smaller or move somewhere else in the design?

im having this problem just installed, followed the instructions
Install and enable the System Plugin. It's called plg_muscol_XXX_2.5.zip (or plg_muscol_XXX_3.0.zip)
Note that the Music collection system plugin needs to be moved to the last position of your plugins in order to work properly. You can do this by sorting the plugins by the first column and dragging the Music collection one to the end of the list.

as you can see in my attachment its at the end of the system plugin list, but still my site is missing from the url
    https://index.php/?option=com_muscol&view=artist&id=2&Itemid=1207

    please could you help
    thanks

there's no "fix" for this, this works ok... if you're positive that the plugin is in last position, then just try to clear the cache, so the links will be re-done...

Germinal, yes, as you know I have been a user of Muscol for a long time, so I know it works. However, see enclosed, System Plugin last, Cache cleared, Browser cache cleared, still no joy... Using Joomla 3.8.3

    hello!

that's not last position ;) that's actually first position.

and you're ordering by ID descending.

you need to order by the column on the LEFT (this way you can drag and drop the plugin to the last position, inside the System plugins)

OK, I thought the position was the ID.. silly me.

Anyway, now last, cache cleared, and still no change - see enclosed, is this correct? (Sorted descending)

    Cheers

hmm.. it should be last. not sure if the sorting is correct. can you just drag and drop it to the bottom of the list?

Yes that's what I did. Just sorted it to show you that it is last... It shows last under the "system" plugins when I sort it ascending...

Germinal thanks for logging in and fixing this issue. Would be helpful if you let me have the changed system files you uploaded in case I have to do some sort of restore.

    Appreciate your help.

I would love to have an answer to this as well. I've gone through all the steps, published the plugin to the "Last" position in the type:System plugins, etc. Still not working.

Yep! That worked. I published the "Mandatory" Home page item on the wrong (Admin) menu. Since I don't need to display the component in all its glory (I just need the albums my client played on) I put the "Mandatory Home Page" onto a hidden menu and now it's working.
