Currecny setting issue

I changed the currency setting from Euro to the USD ($) in the parameter settings (I believe before creating the albums and uploading the songs), But it seems that the songs listed still have Euro as their values. This is not an urgent issue, but just wanted to note it. Image attached. http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/images/fbfiles/images/MC_CurrencyIssue.jpg

Make sure in the menu you change the currency parameter as well. It does not use global settings, instead the euro is by default and overrides anything you pick in the extensions parameters.

Found it. I am confused as to why the currency setting also needs to be in the parameters where you create the menu item. Shouldn't it be in just one location? Anyways, which tpl files do I need to modify to get the $ sign in front of the amount instead of behind it?

exactly: in Joomla ALWAYS menu item parameters override component global parameters. this is a powerful tool, because you can have different parameters depending on where are you accesing the components from, but I understand it can be confugisng, and most of all, can be a headache if you dont know that this happens.

the templates you have to modify are all where the currency appears...

    so..

    /components/com_muscol/views/album/tmpl/default.php

    /components/com_muscol/views/artist/tmpl/default.php

    /components/com_muscol/views/artist/tmpl/grid.php

    /components/com_muscol/views/artist/tmpl/detailed_album.php

    and also the search templates..

    best,
    Germi
