Looking to add some more community integration and social features to my site but am having some troubles. I noticed your site says that MC has "JomComment integration" for 1.7 but yet I couldn't even find that module on joomla.org. Looking up that module on the developers site shows that they have been inactive with all their products for over a year. No 1.6 or 1.7 available option. Which brings me to the next issue. I then went to find the "JomSocial integration" that you have listed. Again the same issue. It is from the same company and they have no updates on this for 1.6 or 1.7 and no recent activity. :S

Any suggestions for a comments replacement that is preferably free as well as is MC compatible?

    the truth is I didn't test JomComments for Joomla 1.7.. the current integration is for 1.5.

    what I don't understand is what you say about JomSocial... what you mean they have no updates? I believe last versoin, quite recent, is JomSocial 2.2 and works for 1.6 and 1.7...!

    I'll try to add compatibility for JComments out of the box in a next update, which is free and a lot of people use.

    Interesting. Their company website http://azrul.com/ has jomsocial as only 1.5 compatible. Yet joomla.org has it as 1.7 compatible. They also haven't updated their parent company website in over a year. Guess its just poor business practices on their end.

    Jomcomments however was dropped from joomla.org for what ever reason.

    Jcomments looks promising, but as now is only 1.5 compatible. I noticed joomla.org mentions yvComment at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/contacts-and-feedback/articles-comments/2233 I am curious if it is any good.
