Cannot upload songs via frontend

Hi,

I am just in the throws of setting up Music Collection latest version downloaded today on Joomla 3.6.2 and using a Rockettheme template. I have followed the installation instructions and setup the menus to add artist and upload song. I have created an artist, and now trying to add a song but I keep getting error message which says Error saving song. My files are all MP3s and roughly under 2mb.

What could be the problem?

Mel

    Hi,

I am using the Form Song Layout as the menu link. Where do I find ID3 tag recognition? I cannot see it when setting up the menu link, and have looked at the configuration for Music Collection and not spotted it there?

    Hi,

thank you for responding. I found the ID3tag it was in the configuration (sorry).

I am finding it difficult to set this up to meet my needs as it is not a traditional music site.

I want a layout exactly like your demo - the 'Featured Albums' section so it displays an image, and plays the audio when the image is clicked, and underneath a brief introduction. So, where you have Abbey Road, that will be my title, and where you have underneath The Beatles, I will have a brief introduction.

There will only ever be one audio file per image, and we want users to be able to upload their audio file so it appears on this featured Album page.

What would be the process for setting this up? Is there a backend demo that I could view the settings and replicate?
