Upgrading to Joomla 4

0
The Extensions tab says "Compatible with Joomla 3.x & 4.x" but the Downloads area under my login only mentions Joomla 3.x. If I upgrade my Joomla to 4.x, will Invoice Manager continue to work? Is there anything I need to do to prepare it? I'm using IM ver 3.3.0

    Hello,

The version you have is for Joomla 3 only.
If you want the version for Joomla 4, that's a different package on our store.
If you're interested, you can upgrade by paying only the difference.

I only see the option to buy the Joomla 3 version for 39, the Joomla 4 version for 39 or the combined version for 69.
I want to perform an in-place upgrade of Joomla. Is this possible? How do I upgrade Invoice Manager to a version that works on Joomla 3 but is compatible with an upgrade to Joomla 4?

it's the same procedure / package. First, you upgrade your site to J4. then, you install the J4-compatible version on it.
The only thing is, it's recommended to disable the System plugin "Invoice Manager" before performing the J4 site updrade.

It is always recommended to try the upgrade on a "test" system first, if you have it, rather than doing it directly on production

If anyone has experience upgrading to Joomla 4 with IM 3.x installed I'd love to hear from you. Perhaps even the Developer?

      Hello,

To install it you just need to install the J4 package in the install section, after you've migrated your site to Joomla 4.
      There no other changes needed.
But you need to have the J4 package (which you don't have at the moment, I believe)
