Sorting seems not to be working in invoice manager

Friends:

I note an issue with sorting. As examples, sorting for "pending" yeilds an invoice clearly marked paid. Sorting for "paid" omits some paid invoices.

This behavior exists with NO data placed in the date fields.

I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you!

    when you say sorting, you mean filter the invoices by status with the bar on the top of the backend?
