Override Admin templates ?

Hi all

Is it possible to change the admin templates for invoices manager

I would like to change the form
I tried to copy file in administrator/templates/isis/html/com_invoices/templates/invoice/items.php
But it has no effect ...

Any suggestion ?

no, unfortunately with the VUE templates you cannot do template overrides directly, UNLESS you change the contents of the view files, to point to a different /templates folder.

what I recommend is simply to make a duplicate of the folder, for example name it templates2, this way you will keep the originals.

    hello,

    it's quite more complicated than that.

    The templates are VUE templates (javascript engine), so the syntax is different and work in a pretty different way.

    what do you want to change, exactly?

    ok, so you want to edit the FORM, correct?
    the form files are in:

    /administrator/components/com_invoices/templates/invoice/

    (for example "items.php" for the items tab)

    but you have to be careful what you change, because this is a VUE.js template...

    Ok I know it this file but what about the extension updates ?

    We cannot do an proper override in the template directory !
