Emailing invoices does not work

I just installed the Invoice Manager extension and created a fictitious invoice with a real email address. When I try to send the invoice by email, a message appears on the screen saying that the email has been sent to ..., but nevertheless the email is not sent. What is the problem?

I have tried to send a test page from global configuration-> server settings and it works perfectly

    could it be your server's email configuration? other emails from the same site get sent correctly?

    I changed the php version of my server to 7.2 (I was using 7.03), and the problem has been resolved. Thank you
