we are considering to buy the expenses module but we need some of the expenses to be validated by a third person once they've been created and before they are considered as correct. I din't see that option at first glance so i would like to ask you if it exists ( to be sure ) or in the case it doesn't, if there is some workaround or equivalente solution to get the same result using that module. thanks in advance, great solution.

it does not exist, you didn't miss it. there's no validation process in Expense Manager (all expenses are automatically "valid" when created)
to allow validation of expenses would require to develop some custom code. that is an extra service we can provide (http://www.joomlathat.com/contact ) -
