We want to track the time spent by one of our administrators on the backend.
This admin is paid on an hourly rate and at present we cannot find a way to easily add up and display their time spent editing.
We have Hika shop plugin along with login plugin to show when the administrator logs in and out and what hika shop products they are editing during that session. We just need to easily add up and see how long this is taking so we can pay the correct amount of hours worked.
Many thanks
Peter

0Hello
this would require custom coding work, because Content Statistics does not track duration.
In any case, you need to have in mind that tracking duration is not easy and not accurate. We can ideate some system that will check if the user is logged in the backend and keep track.. but the user could just be doing nothing, simply having the backend opened...
you can't really know if he is actually working... -

0Thanks for the prompt reply.
I understand that it is not going to be an exact science. But we could look to see how long the user has been logged in and then see how many items have been edited. We could then get an idea how busy they have been - items per hour! Is this something that we could get?
If so, how can I get a quote for some custom coding work?
Many thanks -
