    don't use the updater function as we will be dropping this upgrading server options. we will update the plugins accordingly

    So how can I get rid of these messages? Just updating the modules by downloading them and updating manually does not remove these links.
    Not really a big problem, but there should be a way to remove these.

      the "auto upgrade" option is no longer available, so yes, downloading the modules and installing them is the way to upgrade.
