0Hi,
yes, exactly.
It' great to see how many people saw the article overall but we need to also show how many of them were unique visitors. So if the graph is for example showing last 7 days there will be two graphs - first showing all and second the unique visitors.
Thanks
PS: like the "Current topic popularity evolution over the last 2 weeks" module on this page... it does show only one graph and anytime I refresh the page the graph goes up... there should be second line showing unique visitors. Hope it's clear -

0Hi Germi,
as promised, I have bought the component
However, I'm strangling to understand how to achieve current article with two curves - where one shows ALL Visits and second one Unique Visits.
I attached the image how it should look like, I would appreciate if you tell me how it should be set up in back-end. (The image is an example only - it shows 4 curves, but I need only two).
Also, I'm going to publish this module on every page, it should show only current article data and should be visible to Authors of the article and Admins only. Is it possible?
Thanks a lot
Regards

0hello!
I asume you've installed the core plugin, the modules, and the com_content plugin (at least)
then:
1) create a new module "Content Statistics - Compare Evolution in Time"
2) select com_content as the content provider for the 1st option
3) select "article views" as the criteria, and "current article" as the filtering option
4) let the "unique vistors" option to NO (if you want this one to be the "all hits" line
5) on the content provider 2, select the same options as before
6) only, this time, in "Unique visitors 2", set "Yes, by IP" to have the only visitors graph
7) adjust the rest of the setting the way you want.. (colors, size, chart type, etc...)
this should do it..!give it a try!

0AHA!
I was planing with the initial module and it had the 3rd "content provider" selected and I didn't know it should be empty.
All working now
Thanks a lot
Just few more question...
I do not nee the background color and I tried to put 'none' or 'rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)' but nothing worked... is there any way to do it?
Also, what I can't see, can I limit the visibility to the Author only?
Thanks a lot -

0hmm.. nope, there's no "limit to the author only" (that sould actually be a joomla general module config option...)
the background: you have to set it to some color... try using the same as the background on your site..(the Google Charts API always draws a backend color I'm afraid...)
Thanks germi , your answer help me too .
