Hi:
I was checking out your extension. It seems Joomgallery is the most popular extension used with your product. But Joomgallery has not been upgraded to Joomla 2.5. It is still in Beta 2.0 and the last update was on Oct 16, 2011. Haven't you considered supporting any other gallery product ?
We use Rokgallery, which is a standard feature of all Rockettheme templates. I was wondering how your product would work with this extension since we use it for banner display and would like to generate reports for our clients.
Another central extension for our site is IProperty, a real estate extension: (http://iproperty.thethinkery.net/). Could you generate reports per property, per company and per agent for product ?
I addressed some of these questions a few days ago via your contact tab but haven't received an answer yet. Maybe this forum is more visible to you.
This is our site, still under testing:
http://www.urbedata.com/
This is an example of a property:
http://www.urbedata.com/index.php?option=com_iproperty&view=property&id=9&Itemid=160
Here you can see the gallery at work.
Thxs,
M

0hello!
as you know, a plugin can be build for any possible Joomla extension.
a plugin could be customly build for you for iProperty if you were interested.
about RockGallery: I don't know how it works, but if it's a component a plugin can be build as well, no problem. is RockGallery active on your site?
just now I was revising my email inbox and I have just seen your email, I missed it. sorry about that! usually we answer all direct emails right away, I just missed that one... I'm going to copy this text into the email as well.
por cierto, creo que eres dominicano y veo que la web está en español, o sea que si lo prefieres podemos hablar en español sin problema! -

0Ok, I know you can customize for any Joomla extension. I just want to know how far can I go with your product out of the box without incurring in additional development costs.
So, what about Rokgallery ? And what about IProperty compatibility as is? What can customers get out of the box?
(P.D.: Spanish is OK, but I will be polite to other forum visitors)

0nothing. to make statistics on one component, you need a plugin for that component. if no plugin is available, then the system can't record stats for that component.
since there's no plugin for iProperty, you cannot get anything from it on what's included out of the box... because no plugin for iProperty is included.
same for Rokgallery
with the system "out of the box", you will be able to track statistics for joomla articles, K2 articles, VM items, SobiPro items, etc... all you can see here: http://www.joomlacontentstatistics.com/supported-extensions
no more, no less!
