Definition of "Action"

0
In the Backend component for complete activity log reports, it is possible to list and filter on "Type of Action". Is the fact that a visitor prints a page, or looks to a video... a predefined Action? If not, can a non-technical guy like me define it in the Content Statistics component?
Thanks!

the acgtions are predefined in each of our "extension plugins". for example, the articles plugin "predefines" its own actions: article view, article edit, article creation, etc...

no, if you're not a "technical" guy, you won't be able to define your own actions because it's all by code..

but, tell me: what actions you need to record that are not on our plugins?

    Dear Germi,

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

The actions (see my original question): a visitor who prints the content of an article, or looks to a video I have put online...

when you say "prints the content of an article", you mean using the joomla's "print" button?
this action is not tracked by our current plugin, but we could customly add this for you

as for videos: no, that's not tracked. how are the videos embedded in your site?
