Hi
We recently bought your extension and set it for sobi pro and Joomla content, but in the modules the Joomla articles titles or the Sobi pro entries titles are not showing up.
Checked all the parameters but did not find anything to fix that, even played with limiting characters but still nothing.
Could find anything in the forum either.
Tks
I´d like some help here, please!!

0ok I think this is a little bug that just showed up!
I believe we have found the fix for that.
please, download the new version for the Sobi Pro plugin (on YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS), which is 1.3.1, uninstall the old one and install this new one (and enable the plugin)
let me know if the problem is solved. if it's not, we'll try something else! -

0in this case the problem is not the same. this is an article that you have probably erased from the system.. right?
Well, I guess not, because I updated the plug-in and it disappears.B)
hey, but you just need to reinstall this one!
no need to reinstall all the others!
Just saw there was new versions for a few, so…
I have one more so far:
I don´t know if this is part of the configuration, but when I click on an item in the Joomla content ranking module, it does not go to the article page, just display it at the bottom of the same statists page. Not like in your site.
This actually works fine with the sobipro entries, dough.
Breaking one!!
Will this work with the Joomla banner component? -

0actually I just realised this myself a minute ago, while I was navigating through your site.
it's strange, it shouldn't be that way. if you look at it, the LINK is not correctly created... really strange! I thnk it may be some SEF issue... not sure.
can you do me a favour? can you create this ranking module on a different page, other than statistics.html ?... and see if the links are the same? -

0I duplicate the module and set it in the contact us page, seems to be working fine there. Do you know what the issue is?
Question:
Will the plug-in work with the Joomla banner component? It has a separate set of categories and I don´t know if the cats id will be unique or may duplicate the regular categories ids… -

0hmm.. well it's definitely a SEF issue if it works on a different page. are you using any SEF third party component? or just joomla's native?
Joomla 1.7 basic:
SEO Settings:
• Search Engine Friendly URLs: Yes
• Use URL rewriting: Yes
• Adds Suffix to URL: Yes
• Unicode Aliases: No
.htaccess ready (apache)
we don't have a plugin for Joomla Banner component, but it woulc be created for you if you were interested...!
Here is the thing:
In the content top (AD1) and in the right sidebar there will images sliding, this images will have an external link. We have to count the clicks and if possible have it in the statistics page. First I tried to use some content sliders to set articles (when clicked takes you to an article with that image and an external link, your plug-in would count them as articles) but none of them worked fine due to JS issues (I suspect with sobipro JS).
So then I tried with vtem slider (no JS issues) that can slide link embed images from a folder (the links are set in the module, per image) and can also slide banner components. Couldn´t figure how to count link embed images clicks, so my last option is slide banners.
Which solutions do you have???
Can you count link embed images clicks???
I guess that you can count banners component clicks.
So please tell me which solutions do you have and how much will cost??

0well, let me explain:
we can count anything, as far as it is an INTERNAL link.
I mean, if the link is "direclty" external, so the image points directly to "www.domain.com" it cannot be counts (well, to be able to do that we could have to do heavy customization and JS code on that banner)
however, if the link is "internal", to a component that performs a redirect, something like this:
index.php?option=com_whatever&task=redirect&link_id=234
(we asume this link actually just performs an automatic redirect to the REAL link)
then this could be counted with Content Statistics, writing a plugin for the component.
do you know what I mean? -

0ok, after looking at it, com_banners (joomla native banners) DOES that out of the box:
the links are like this:
index.php?option=com_banners&task=click&bid=1
so it would be great to be counted by Content Statistics. a plugin would have to be built for that component. if you're interested, please contact us directly at joomlastatistics@gmail.com or through our Custom Service form! -
