Don't see plg_contentstats after install

I follow your guide in http://www.joomlacontentstatistics.com/guide to install contentstats.

I installed the file named plg_contentstats_1.4.1_1.6.zip into my website (Joomla! 2.5.7). The message appear 'Installing plugin was successful.'. I continue install other component, module and plugin.

When I come to step 6: enable (that is, to make active) the plugin named System - Content Statistics. I can't find Content Statistics plugin in plugin manager. But I can see other plugins are there.

I believe this causes problem, I browse to Content Statistics component, nothing is shown there. I reinstall Content Statistics plugin, again the message appear as successful. But I go to plugin manager and can't find the plugin.

Please help on this.

    Content Statistics main plugin is a SYSTEM plugin, not a "contentstats" plugin.
    you are filtering the plugins by type "contentsats" which will only display the extension plugins.. not the main CORE plugin which is of type "system" :) that's all.
