Hi Support,

Thanks for the great product. I have installed this on other Joomla sites but havn't come across this before.
I think that this is an error with the install but am not sure.

This was the install order.
plg_contentstats_1.6.0_2.5
mod_content_statistics_1.3.1_pro_1.6
mod_content_statistics_1.3.1_pro_1.6_admin
mod_content_statistics_individual_1.5.0_pro_2.5
mod_content_statistics_individual_1.5.0_pro_2.5_admin
plg_contentstats_com_content_1.4.2_1.6
plg_contentstats_com_docman_2.0_1.4.1_2.5
com_contentstats_1.6.0_2.5

I then go to Extensions, Plug-In Manager and enable System - Content Statistics and Content Statistics - Joomla Articles.

I then go to Extensions, Module Manager and enable Content Statistics (RANKING). When I select the Content Provider "com_content (com_content) and then try to select either xriteria or selcetor, the drop down lists are blank.

If I go to components, content-statistics, i can see the data being collected.

I looked through the forums and have confirmed that I the prerequisites have been followed.

I am obviously missing something.

I have tried a complete uninstall, checked the DB and any files and then reinstalled. Still the same result.

Any further suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

this sounds like there could be some JavaScript error messing up the "new module" page.

can you enable the JS console and see if there's something wrong when you select the content provider?

I have the exact same issue. Enabling the java console in Chrome shows no output at all when setting up the module.

    Hello again,

please, be sure to read carefully the installation instructions:

"can you verify that you have installed and Enabled the System plugin and at least 1 extension plugin?"

your system plugin was installed but not enabled.

    thanks!

    best,

Thank you for the VERY quick resolution.

For those of you with the same issue, don't skip enabling the System-Content Statistics in the plug in manager (type = system).

    Thanks again,

    OK,

I have run the javascript debug console and have the below error.

    SCRIPT5: Type mismatch.

    select.js, line 113 character 4

Also on the other page is

    This was in IE9
Tried on another PC with ie8 and same error.
Tried then with Firefox and all of the settings appeared.
I really should have thought of using another browser. But can't think of everything all the time.

    Statistics now appearing.

    Thanks for the help
