Hi, i change in both:
system plugin - and no changes
in preferences - and no changes

My joomla system was -3 "São Paulo";

If i select the correct -3 or -2 or -1 the time dont change.
If i select +1 the time correct +1 plus hour.

Any idea?

    Guys, I resolve the problem, simple: in Joomla configuuration I choose the default UTC time. Then In Preferences from component content statistics choose -3 and now is ok. Somehow joomla configuration was messing everything. Thanks

    But if you select default UTC time in Joomla, all articles will be the problem...
    You dont solve the problem, you transfer this problem from Statistics to Joomla articles core....

    what you need to do is change the setting on the system plugin of content statistics.
    the OLD entries wont' change, logically, but the new ones from that moment on will be stored in the new timezone...

    For me dont work.
    The actual time was: 11:23 am.
    In jommla 2.5 was set "Saõ Paulo"

    In syste plugin if i select -1, -2 or -3 the time are stored every -3 hours = 8:23.
    If i select -4 the time was save 7:23
    If i select +1 the time was save +1 = 12:23

    Any idea?

    well.. what you mean? what you describe is exactly what it's supposed to do..! isn't it?

    your joomla time is set to Sao Paolo, correct? the time is 11:23am.
    what time is content statistics recording the information?

    The problem was in:

    The actual time was: 11:23 am.
    >>> In syste plugin if i select -1, -2 or -3 the time are stored every -3 hours = 8:23 <-------this time are recording.
    >>> If i select -4 the time was save 7:23
    >>> If i select +1 the time was save +1 = 12:23

    The plugin dont "read" -1, -2 or -3, they stored ever -3 hours = 8:23.
    The impression was the plugin dont "override" the joomla set between ZERO and -3 time.
    But the plugin dont respect the joomla settins too...

    we're not understanding each other.. if you set -3, the system will record the data -3 hours... this is exactly what is supposed to do.

    so, if you set it to 0, it's recording the right time? then.. why would you change it?

    can you maybe send me access?

    sorry about this, but all you describe looks "perfect" to me ;) it's exactly how it is supposed to be working...

    0 they record 8:23; <------ this was problem
    -1 they record 8:23; <------ this was problem
    -2 they record 8:23; <------ this was problem
    -3 they record 8:23; <------ this was problem
    -4 they record 7:23; <------ this apeer to be OK;
    +1 they record 12:23; <------ this apeer to be OK;

      there are two settings you can adjust. one is in the main Content Statistics plugin (system plugin). there you can "Adjust data recording timezone". the other setting is in the component parameters, but please first try with the system plugin configuration...
