Hi There, firstly, I realize that FlexiContent is not included in the supported extensions list. I was kind of hoping, that as FlexiContent uses the the com_content structure ( and all articles are listed under com_content once posted ) that Content Statistics might track them... unfortunately, I don't get any information in even the raw activity log.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience or thoughts on getting stats for FlexiContent? Is it possible, should I be getting something?
I was a little spurred on by "Works with any extension" on the front page
so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

0Hello,
well, actually it says "It can work with any Joomla extension and component"
because it can work with any extension, yes, but for that, a plugin is necessary..
question: how does FlexiContent construct the URLs? I mean, our software tracsk com_content yes, but that's because the URLs are created with com_content. how does a FlexiContent URL look like? (without SEF) -

0Hi Germi,
Thanks for getting back to me. As I said, I was just hoping it wouldIt actually slipped my mind that we had FlexiContent articles as we do not use that section of the site very often ( and have not added anything to that area in over a year )
I have actually been thinking of moving the content over to K2, but it is 'register to read more' type content inside the Flexi articles and K2 still hasn't come to the party with "Show Unauthorized Links" so its a fair bit of work/template customization to implement.
Anyway, I have checked the FlexiContent Non SEF URL and it is structured as ( Category Example ) "index.php?option=com_flexicontent&view=category&cid=7" - so I understand what you are saying as it is not com_content.
I have looked at the code for the K2 plugin and creating a new/modifying the plugin to work for Flexi Content is way above my skill level, so I will have look at transferring my articles over to K2..... unless its only a 10 min job for you to create a new pluginbut I expect that not the case.
Thank you again for getting back to me, and while this one small thing does not work for me, Content Statistics is a FANTASTIC tool, that gives me and my team information that we have been looking for - that other tools we have used do not. -

0+1 for Flexicontent support. I bought content stats, but it is not very useful for me if it doesn't support flexicontent. even a hack is welcome
Slim-
