Content statistics is not working Issue

If I select Component > Content Statistics > Activity I just get a 504 error gateway timeout. I purchased Content Statistics Extended Professional Joomla 3.8.6 and uploaded all the modules and plugins as I assumed that therein must lie the error however I still cannot get Activities to load.
I would be most grateful for any advice, I am very keen to track user activity.

    Update: I went back to our hosts - Siteground and they set more time to try and prevent the gateway timeouts. That did not work and then they found some kind problem with the scripts which they corrected. That has now resolved the issue. Thank you for your offer of assistance.
