The Description text is not behaving correctly. Please instruct me on how to correct this.
Also, I am seeing weird icons at the bottom left and right of my template. How can I remove them?

the weird formatting is because your template is adding a CSS class that is messing things up a little.
If you want to send us FTP access at support@ joomlathat.com I will remove this.
The weird icons are probably due to a duplicated bootstrap.css file being loaded as well. with a couple css line changes I think I will be able to quickly remove it.-
