Unarguably the primary stream for Hindus, Ganga is the most blessed stream on earth. Gangotri is one of the starting wellsprings of Ganga (Ganges). It should be noted here that the primary wellspring of the stream is "Gaumukh" – an ice sheet found 19 km from the Gangotri asylum Gangotri is arranged on the banks of Bhagirathi stream at a tallness of 3100 mts.
