"I Like it" and "tweet this" buttons not showing,

I am not able to get the "I Like it" and "tweet this" buttons to show up on my website if "Show Bookmarks on..." is turned off. If I have bookmarks turned on, then the i like it and tweet buttons will also show up. If bookmarks is disabled then they will not show up.

I would like to use the "I Like it" and "tweet this" buttons. I however do NOT want to use the Bookmarks as I find them way to clustered and ugly. How can I get the tweet this and I like buttons to work without displaying the additional bookmarks section?

Good day greengeek,

What i would recommend that you do is create a override for the album view and artist view in your template so that you don't make any changes to the core file of music collections.

shit...

that's a known bug. I thought we had solved it in last upgrade, but now I have checked the files, and we forgot...

in the file helpers/bookmarks.php there's an IF sentence that is wrong, and that makes the "i like it" button not show if bookmarks are off.

if you can find it, good. otherwise, I'll publish the correct file in a bit.

please unzip and replace for the one existing in helpers/bookmarks.php

still tweeter counter dons't count, most of time it display zero even after i click on it to share it on tweeter.

this is NOT a Music Collection problem. it's a twitter problem. it happens all the time. it also happens to me in this site.

actually, if also happens on a lot (a lot!) of sites, including JED (try to say "I like" in the facebook button... it counts, and then you visit again and it's not there)

it has nothing to do with MC or Joomla for that matter.. is just a problem with Twitter buttons... I noticed this a long tima go...! :S
