avoid multiples

- avoid multiples entries of the same artist/album.
it already happened a few times that i added an artist twice. There should be an alert upon saving.
- next/previous album.
for some strange reason this is bound to albums per format. and i have no idea how to get around this obstruction.
- mark multiples and delete at once in playlist
a time saver
- and, of course, sorting by categories.
a major flaw that this isn't possible.

There's more, specially in the backend. when i'm ready with my site i'll add my suggestions.

    hello,

    thanks for the suggestions!

    1. well, that's something people actually use. many times there are albums with the same name, of the same artist (for example various editions) and many people use that way.. to "block" this option would not be good for everyone..

    2. yes it is. but if you only use one format, then all albums will be there.

    3. nice one :) thanks

    4. you mean, genres?

    2. I actually use only one format. That's why i use the format field for licenses instead. All good until i started using the next/prev feature. Some artists publish their albums under different licenses which makes some albums disappear. Ok, its probably unique what i do here.
Another funny thing, this feature always shows the current album as well. I improved that for me.
    4. Genres, yes. At some point there might be a desire to re-arrange content. Simple thing to do in photo albums or such components, just mark and move. Muscol is a static concept, one has to live with the initial ordering. Perhaps it's just me again, had a tough time to get it working all the way i need it. (http://improve.cctrax.com)
Luckily there's search and tags ;)
