there is no backend .ini, only frontend...
is that a problem? have you translated it in the frontend?

I have translated almost all strings but i see that there are some missing and not all are working good in the backend

yes a few strings on backend cannot be translated in Joomla 2.5, I was just testing it and you are right.

yes, we will update this so every string can be translated. it will take a while tho.
meanwhile, the way to do it would be to access the tmpl files (the layouts)
like this:

/administrator/components/com_muscol/views/album/tmpl/form.php

and change the strings in there to NOT include whitespaces.

When i'm in the backend expanding the dropdown list of music collection the names are not translated but when i enter the component and expand the same dropdown list they are traslated. Maybe it's because the translation goes from frontend file?
