Hello. thanks for the awsome product. im using joomla 2.5 with community builder and your software. for some reason. i cannot allow a user to upload a song via..simple upload. album upload or create a new artist via the new menu item/mc link option. it will always return a download error. but if my user uploads to album or creats album via cb profile it works....i really would like to use the simple upload option via menu links..any idea what may be wrong...so far ive made sure all of my plugins and modules were working. thanks in advance

I don't know what is happening.. have you created menu item links poiting to "add album", for instance? (album form) can you post a link to your site?

Sure thanks for looking into this for me...the link is

    http://goodtimetrips.com/index.php/activities

and the menu title with the linking issues is named music and it is located on the bottom right side of the page...the links in question are titled >>>> add new album >>> the next is >>> add album then song >> and the third is titled >> upload area >>> ....also upload area seems to be a general upload area..where would the >>> upload area upload song errorloaded directly within the community builder tab provided... and i would like to be able to use the simple upload option... Thanks again

well.. remember you need to be logged in to add new data! (albums, songs.. ) do, first of all, the "add" links should be visible ONLY to the registered users. can you do this?
    also I can't add unless I have a username/password...

Thanks..the 3 add links are on registered now..i forgot to change their access levels becuase they were left unpublished since i could not get them to work..
However i have been able to upload download via the cb plugin. But for some reason they will not work when i attempt to upload via the add links in the menu system...

Hey thanks germi..i organized it a little better so that you can see the errors a little easier
the links in my music has an asterisk in front of them
    *simple upload
    *add a new song
I did see the album you uploaded and im noticing that adding the add album link works ok..
however i did manage to copy and paste the url link and past it as a ext url link to allow for uploading albums and artists becuase the cb plugin allows to add albums songs and artists within the cb profile...
but it is less user friendly and flexible as being able to upload via original...simple upload/add song/add artist
Adding the album is the only one that works via mc menu link..after tooling around heres what i noticed....
when uploading via simple upload mc menu link...i recieve an (error saving song) but realizing the song actually reaches the artists page under songs...and it was included into one of the last test albums i created...but how would i control where it uploads to if that is an option...
when i use the mc new song menu link i recieve the same (error saving song) and that one actually reaches its destination as well.
    Thanks again
