I am hopeful that Germi will sticky this post and maybe it could grow into something positive for everyone that uses this product. I enjoy this product emmensly but I am a nurse not a web designer and as many others do not know this css stuff. It is not brain surgery though and a simple guide would help us all.

This could even turn into a skinning forum where people who make nice color groupings can upload their files with a few jpegs and really have a nice variety of players and displays for their web pages.

So I will continue to edit my post here and try to compile some good information for and turn it into a guide.

Any help would be much appreciated my suggestion would be to grab each css file one at a time and rip it apart labeling the sections and what elements they correspond to as we finish the project ill make it a pdf file for download as long as germi is ok with that.

I have seen alot of questions on this subject when I was searching for my answers and I wind up sending Germi emails which don't add to the forum knowledge base so again if we can sticky this and see an interest here I think it could turn into alot of good skinning in the future.

Please let germi know if you think this is a good idea?

    sticky! it's done.

it's a very good idea to keep a thread about Skining. however, as you will agree, it is very important to keep it as "generic" as possible. some users will need some things, others won't. for instance, in your case, the main issue what of course that your template was using dark colors and some of MC's colors didn't fit well in that. :)

I have been away for awhile I will create some screen shots and post them with a set of CSS Files for people to have. I do have a few more screens to hit but I made the priority getting the music up and organized. but things are working well.
