album/artist/song ID in url

0
Hey there,

I see that in the demo site the direct url to a song does not contain the IDs of the album, artist and song. (http://www.joomlathat.com/demo/music-collection/j/jack-johnson/sleep-through-the-static).
when I installed the component in my site all links are with the ID. How do I achieve the link without the IDs?

TNX

oh, sorry about that. well, try to install JomSEF first. if then the installation still fails, try to unzip the file and upload the contents to the folder components/com_sef/sef_ext/

We are using the JomSEF extension to build the URLs that way.
plugin can be found here: http://www.joomlathat.com/downloads/music-collection/extensions

thanks. when I am installing the the extension I am getting the following error:
    "Unable to detect manifest file
    Error installing COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_SEF_EXT"
should I install a third party extension before that one?

yes, you need the third party extension logically..
however, this plugin does not have to be installed that way. please read the instructions in the download page.

    excellent, that worked :)
now the link structure will be: www.mysite.com/[first-letter-of-artist]/[artist-name]/[album-name]/[song-name], right?
