How do I monitor frontend logins?

0
Hello,

I'm probably being daft, but I've just downloaded your content stats component/all associated plugins/modules and I don't really understand how it works...

In the first instance, I'd like to monitor my user logins eg who's logging in and how often. So I set up a content stats module (Ranking), but I don't know what I'm supposed to pick for 'content provider'.. I have no idea which (if any) this is. I tried a couple that seemed sensible (com_login (showed 0 logins on the graph), com_comprofiler (broke my website))... Finally I tried com_users, which seems to have recorded something, but I can't get it showing as I would like. Does com_users just show backend use? How do I show frontend, please?

Can you please also advise as to how I establish my content provider for logins?!

Many thanks

Sophie

Many thanks for your speedy response! It turns out I was being daft.. Realised as soon as I'd emailed you that the reason nothing was showing on the graph was because no one had logged in since installing content statistics.. I tested and it's fine. My apologies for wasting your time! Sophie

    Hello Sophie,

the plugin you need is, indeed, com_users. the com_login is for BACKEND logins only.

when you create the module, to show this information graphicaly, you need to select option "most user logins", if you're using the RANKINGS module.

    it doesn't work for you?
