Hi there,
I installed the plugins and modules, activated them and set the configuration for the module "Content Statistics (EVOLUTION IN TIME)". But whatever I chose to show (com_users, comprofiler, etc.), I get no result from your Plug/Mod. It looks all very simple, but there are no statistics. Enclosed find some pics.
I use Joomla 3.4.1, Community Builder 2.0
Any idea what I can do?
Michael

0of course it only recods data from the installing moment..! how is it supposed to know, for example, whoc accessed which article, BEFORE it was installed?
the only exception to this is "user registration", which you can actually chose the option "original table" to get the data from Joomla users table.
but I'm a bit surprised about your question... did you really expect it would know all the sudden who accessed what, and when.. just out of nowhere..? it starts tracking data from the moment you install -

0I´m not interested in the activity streams, I need only statistics of the separate components. So you are right if you say, that an activity stream can only log with the day of installation. I thougt, you use also the existing database to create stats. Every article has an public date, create date or hits. Also for every kunena post. Every user has an register date or an last visit date. Community builder has much more information in the database. I never expected, that you build a complete new database for all this things. Btw, the configuration for "user registrations (original table)" has also no results. -

0Hello
you need a new DB for the hundreds of things that CS can track.. (article views, edits, forum post views, etc.)
the data you mention, the "data that is already there" can only be used for specific things. for example, the "original table" method is for that (yes, you mention it is not working, there must be something we are missing, so we can look into that).
but you mention for example the "hits" on the articles page. what good is this? this is just a number, like.. "654". it does not give any information about the TIME variable (the X axis on the graphic), which is what you need. If we don' thave the time variable, we don't know when the hits are being made, we can't built time-based ranking or anything based on time (which is the purpose of CS)...
in any case, if the problem you're having is just with the user registraion graphic (original table) we can look into that. otherwise if you don't want to use CS we can issue the refund.
thanks. -

0Good morning,
nevertheless I like your software, so we don´t need a refund. It becomes more usefull in future. Maybe a upgrade is usefull in future to have the complete activity log report.
But it would be great if you can solve the "original table" issue. Actually I need a overview of a registed user timetable (from the past till now), that was the main reason to buy your software.
Thank you! -

0Perfect, I will create an account later.
We collect some datas (i.e. registrations) now, so some of the stats are working. But others not. For example:
Content Statistics (EVOLUTION IN TIME)
com_comprofiler - User registrations -> No results
com_users - users registrations -> No results
com_users - users registrations (original table)-> No results
com_users - users logins -> strange results (to low)
Selector: ALL
Thank you,
Michael -
