Integration with Virtuemart?

Hi,

One website I work on sells spaces on courses, and Calendar Planner looks like a great tool to show when these classes are running. Would there be some way to have it link in somehow with VM? Ideally somehow as part of a product, or even so that when a calendar entry is clicked, it takes you to a specific product?

Not sure what is possible, but thought I'd ask...

- Adam.

hello,

yes, you have the description field (free text), or even better, you have a "link" field which you can use.

so yes, you could use that way with no extra coding.

I've not played with the Demo fully... is there a field that is customisable to include free text for an event? That could then have a manual link put in there towards the product, ie: Click here to book, and it takes you somewhere else.

You're right, products and events don't really go hand in hand. We get around it by having custom fields for the dates.

No, that's not possible out of the box... such integration would need to be customly build.

however, what I don't totally understand is.. how is a "product" an "event"? I mean, I understand it can be, but, how do you define, for example, the starting and ending times, in VM?
