Hi,

Is there any way of being able to customize this extension so that you can choose which groups can see certain categories other than public and private." It would be great if it referenced Joomla's internal ACL. Is this possible?

    It's not possible out of the box, it would require a bit of custom coding work.

    Do you ever plan on adding this? I am actually surprised that there is no form of joomlas ACL integrated with this extension and how much would something like that cost?

    it's a possibility that we add this in the future, yes, although it's not currently on the works.
