Dear support,
We would like to remove some fields from the login form in Affiliate Tracker. For example we do not use "usernames" in the site just the real name of each user, therefore, we would like to remove that field or the "company" field for example. Is this possible?
For now we renamed the "username" field to "Email" in order to appear as that in the login area, because the language string is the same.

0Dear Germinal,
Thanks for the prompt response.
We commented out the desired fields and the "Username" field does not appear in the form but when we try to create a test registration we receive this message:
Error - Registration failed: Please enter a username.
Although we have commented out the php code (as you can see in the attached file) and we even deleted the whole division of code in some tests, but it stills requests for a "username". Any ideas?

I cannot send you the php file here as the system says "it is in an unsupported format" in order for you to see it. If you want let me know how I can send it to you.

0yes that's correct. What I'm saying is that the error you're getting is because you're using the Affiliate registration page to work both as a register user + affiliate, all at once. therefore, the username is mandatory.
otherwsie, the users need to register "normally" on some other page of the website, and then "apply" for an affiliate account, once they are already registered as a normal user in the website... -

0Dear Germinal,
We have difficulty to do that as we have PayPlans installed on the site and a new user has to pay a subscription in order to do that and in addition we wanted to avoid the 2 step process, therefore, we have modified the field and everything is ok now. We have more questions so we are going to open new tickets.
