1. My website is at http://maxduit.com
2. The subdomain http://unikl.maxduit.com redirects users to http://maxduit.com. This redirection works
3. The Joomla/Affiliate Tracker userid unikl has the following default referral link - http://maxduit.com/?atid=59
4. Enter the referral link http://unikl.maxduit.com to replace the default referral link
5. Save and close the user account page in Joomla Tracker
6. The Account Manager page still shows that his affiliate link is http://maxduit.com/?atid=59
7. Clear all cookies and logs
8. Access the website using http://unikl.maxduit.com and register a new affiliate
9. User unikl does NOT get his affiliate commission
10. Open unikl's account again. His refer URL is http://unikl.maxduit.com but on Account Manager his affiliate link is http://maxduit.com/?atid=59
11. Clear cookies and logs. Register a new user using his affiliate link http://maxduit.com/?atid=59. User unikl GETS his commission.
Conclusion - Refer URL does NOT work.

if you use maxduit.com/unikl then you need to make sure that this page EXISTS in the website. Affilaite Tracker does not create the page for you, it just "points to it".
It could be an article, for example, with some information or whatever you want, that has that URL.
Otherwise you need to use the original maxduit.com?atid=1, using the NUMBER (the ID) of the affiliate, not the referral word. -

wrong conclusion, I'm afraid.
It's normal that is not tracking it because unikl.maxduit.com is a DIFFERENT site than maxduit.com
it doesn't matter that there's a redirect, because the affiliate ID is "lost" on that redirect.
you are mixing two different websites. Affiliate Tracker tracks what happens in ITS website, not another...
