Dear support,

If an existing user tries to create a new affilate account as per image1, then he receives the error as per image2 although we have the menu item visibility set to "public".

If the user is already logged in the website and then he goes to the step as per image1, then he is correctly redirected to the affiliate registration form as per image3.

Is this how it is supposed to work? If the user is not logged in the website before the step as per image1, then he receives an error?

Regards,

Phivos Constantinou

    Dear Germinal,

Thank you for the prompt response. The menu item you found is part of the "User menu" because we wanted it to be displayed in the "User's menu" in the front end only for those users. But, we have the same menu item in the "Main menu" that is set to "public" visibility.

After your correction, it works fine right now.

As your correction may be lost on the next update, please let us know which file and which line is affected in order to fix it ourselves and not disturb you again for the same issue upon a future update.

well the problem is because the affiliate area is restricted to users "Referral partner program VAL"... but this user is not part of this group while attempting to register as an affiliate. that was causing the problem..

I removed a line of code internally. can you try now?
