Assign to User Group

In the options there is a place where you can assign a user group when an affiliate account is approved.
"Group for new users creating an affiliate account"

Do I understand how this works? Account approved and they get added to a user group.
I am testing and I cannot get the group assigned to the user. Nothing happens.

Am I missing something?

    Hello

    No, that's not exactly how it works: if you have the option to create a new joomla user when they request a new affiliate account (which may not be your case), then the user will be assigned to that user group when it is created.
