problems configuring the component

Hi, I have recently insalled and configured the music collection for a joomla 2.5 website htpp://www.yourtunes.org
I am having problems configuring it to do what I want.

First of all it doesnt seem to be configured to run with the community builder I have installed the way it is supposed to. there is an artist page and a separate community builder profile page and the two dont seem to be connected. ??? there doesnt seem to be any way to connect them that I can see in the configuration page.


Also the only way that seems to work for artists to upload their songs is to add them to an album, that is fine but it creates a new album every time and there seems to be no way of configuring it not to do that. So for example say I upload 2 songs to the album called "Unknown" then it creates two albums called "Unknown" and it adds one song to each one.

Also I cant seem to find anyway of configuring the form?
The only upload menu item that works to upload is the add album/song and that is the one that creates a new album for every song.

When I use the "add new song' menu item it says there is an error saving the song.

this is frustrating because I seem to have tried everything and my the new users (there are 20 in the first week) are getting more and more frustrated with the website and it is making us look bad. some of them are fed up trying to upload their songs or music. :(

    hello!

    yes that's correct, the artist profile page is different from the CB profile (because it contains artist specific information). you are right, they are not connected. how you would like to connect them?

    you can have a simple song layout adding form, but an album will always be created. what I don't understand is that about the "unknown" album.. if you have an album "unknown", you can add additional songs into it..!

    what do you what to configure in the form, exactly? you are using the album form, or the song form?

    about the error you are getting: this is of course not the way it should be. Maybe there's a little bug or something. if you want, I can try to help you solve it out. I would need Joomla admin access and FTP access to the component.

    Hi what is happening with the song upload issue? I was waiting for you to get back to me. The last correspondence was where you couldn't find the menu item for adding a new song so I directed you to it. Then you did not respond to that email. I just tested there and it is still giving an error message "error saving song" when i try to upload a song. Please advise.
