Hi,
I use CS for tracking activity around my listings within SobiPro.
My SobiPro collection or section is for a scientific journal. This is organized hierarchically as follows:
- Parent Category 1
-- Child category 1
-- Child category 2
-- Child category 3
-- Child category n
- Parent Category 2
-- etc
-- etc
- Parent etc

Sample names:
- Volumen 8 (2010)
-- 8 (1)
-- 8 (2)
-- 8 (3)
-- 8 (4)

The fact is that i don't need to track parent categories, but just child categories. Hence, is there any way I could force the module (or plugins) to ignore visits to parent categories?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Juan

    Hello Juan,

some kind of filter would need to be bulit into the plugin to avoid it displaying the parent categories.. because as it is now, it will track and display everything

    Hello Germinal,
I've deleted from CS database all entries of those reference_id matching sobipro parent categories id, and set ranking module to display data for 35 items (my 35 children categories). This works, but it is not a good solution, as it will require my to periodically delete entries in the db and, modifying the number of items to display in the module as new children categories are added.
What would be fine, as you say, is a filter that would let me specify what categories id I will not need to track, or, even better, enabling to specify what level down the section's hierarchy should or should not be tracked.
    Regards,
    Juan
