I am trying to get something which should be really simple to work, but have been struggling for hours.
Firstly, I do NOT want any user to be able to register on my site, but without enabling this it seems I cannot get a link to allow someone to register as an affiliate, I dont want a million random users registering for nothing on my website.

Secondly, I wish to have a menu option to allow people to EITHER login as an existing affiliate OR register as an affiliate.
Once they register, or login it should then redirect them to their Affiliate accounts page.
What I am getting is the following:

I tried to add a menu item with a URL as follows https://imyour.guru/affiliates/account/new to access the register or login page. However when I do this, it ALWAYS takes me to the page with the button marked "request new affiliate and Link" A totally superfluous and extra step which I dont want the user to have to do.
So at this point, when I now click the button, I get taken to the page which shows either register or returning user. When I click returning user, enter the login details of an EXISTING and current affiliate, I then get taken BACK to the register a new affiliate page..
this should in fact take me to the Affiliate accounts page.

This linking system of this Affiliate component just doesn't seem to work.
