Hi, Is it possible to associate existing users with a new affiliate account?
I get: Warning Failed to authenticate: Access Denied if i try to log in with an existing user

    umm, not sure, but if i try to sign up as a new account and the email is already taken, it doesnt allow to create the account

    well this is normal behavior.. this is handled by joomla, and will act just as joomla registration acts (it won't allow registering with an email already present in the system)..

    Back on topic, then, do you mean my existing customers I need to get them to use a different email address? or is there some way of manually adding them to AT? as this is really cumbersome for users to have to have two accounts now.

    No, they don't need to use a different address. They just need to be logged in when requesting an Affiliate Account... just one account is needed.
