Hi,

I was not even looking for a plugin like this, but I am glad to see and read about it.

1. I have jw player license, two actually, and wanted to know if it is possible to change the skin of the player?

2. Once the mp3 songs are on the server, can it be transfer to amazon s3? I have a video website and the main component allow users to upload their video file, but it transfer later to amazon s3. This takes a lot of pressure on the server.

3. Is it possible to post a copyright not to the users before uploading music from major artist? It will be like an agreement between my site and their content to make sure they have the rights to the music

4. I noticed that when clicked on profile under jomsocial that it shows the users album. Is that a page it self created by the component? I am trying to avoid many different streams from other component being under the profile.

5. Is it possible to post logos on the player? This would be like the website site logo.

6. On the "music collection demo", is it possible to have the user's name be automatically be on the field that is link to jomsocial?

7. Do you have a Joomla 1.7 site that demonstrate the component?

    hello!

    1) it is possible (and actually, you don't need a jwplayer liscense for that..)
    2) no, there's no currently this option...
    3) it's not included out of the box, but very easy to add.
    4) it is a plugin we offer that you can optionally install. it's not mandatory at all. you can install it or not, and also, if you install it, you can define it as a "core" plugin (it will appear on all users profiles) or not, so it will be the user who chooses either to display it or not.
    5) no... not with our version of JWplayer. but if I'm not wrong, the liscensed version of jwplayer allows this, so maybe you will only need to replace our file for yours..!
    6) it's not included out of the box, but can be added
    7) no... but it looks just like the 1.5 version. a lot of our users user 1.7, you can ask them to show you their sites :)

    Thank you for answering all my questions.

    1. Do you guys plan on adding amazon s3? The capability of allowing mp3 to be transfer to s3 when users upload file.

    2. Can the amazon s3 sync feature be added if i ask the development team to do it for me? I know that you mention added features can be done.

    3. Can the component pick up on music that is not own by the user? Let me explain, if a user upload a music by a major artist, is there a program that will let the user know that this music is forbidden due to copyrights policy? Can such feature be added?

    4. For video, what type of videos that can uploaded? I have a VPS. I have a program on my server that process videos to flv. Can that be use for the component?

    I asked a lot of questions regarding s3 because i don't want a lot of pressure on the server. I am trying to have s3 do all the handwork so the my website does not slow down due to it hosting a lot of files.

    1) not currently on our list, sorry.
    2) yes, it can be done as custom coding.
    3) there is no way to restrict this other than manually.
    4) flv videos are supported. also youtube videos.
