Jw Player does not work when I switch to rockettheme Quantive template. It says "The player will show in this paragraph "

But when I switch to any other templates, it works. I uninstalled and the installed plg_jwplayer_2.0.0.zip No work. I disabled any rok.. plugins and modules. No Work...

What should I do.

    Install the FLASH PLAYER 10.1.53.21
And then see your website in Opera,Mozilla Firefox

If you purchased the component then login then you will see "my orders" in user menu. You can download from there. Otherwise no link.

Yes, I bought the community version, what I wanted to know is whether I need to install the lot or just JW Player plugin for Music Collection or
JW Player module for Music Collection. Which one does this re-install refer to, tislam?

    Thanks

did you buy it? then you must log in with the account you used to purchase... its not "Muscol_User".

"Muscol_User" is not a paying user...

    Hi germi,

1 - I also have the same issue where in Firefox and non IE browsers the following will show instead of the player "The player will show in this paragraph"

Also, after changing my site's template, the following started to occur:

2 - The player does not show in the album section(under the album picture). However if you click in the space where it should appear, the musics start to play ... (this one beats me  )

3 - The green play icons for the individual songs do not work.

4 - The green play list buttons do not work (never worked for me on any browser).

You can verify this by yourself here http://universodamusica.net
Please register to check all functionality issues as I have referred above.

Do you have any software updates that may fix all or part of the above?
Can you please provide solution to all the points (1 to 4)

    Thanks

1 - I see the player, I'm having no problem. what FLASH version are you running?

2 - shows for me, and I can play the songs!! (see picture)

3 - I can't see that because right now you have to "one player per song" option active..

4 - where's the jwplayer module? (without it, I cant see if it works or not), but, I have to tell you, I tried to add songs to my playlist and they added just fine...

I think your problem is your browser's version or flash version or something like that... I mean.. ALL WORKS for me!!!!!

OOKKK!! that makes sense!!! it was the flash player version!!!

to solve the problem in IE8: (there's a thread on the fourm about it: http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/en/forum/version-2/javascript-error-on-adding-to-playlist-3.html#6007 )

    add this:

    var muscol_player_module_loaded = false ;

at the beginning of the file /plugins/muscolplayers/jwplayer/playlist_functions.js

no, man, I'm talking about the JAVASCRIPT ERROR

this: "The player will show in this paragraph" is not an error, just a message, because there has been some kind of error

when there is an error on a page, IE tells you this usually on the left bottom corner

I think it has more to do with Stylesheets of the templates. I think if you try out another template, it might work. or try to disable other components witch are using flash.

however : i think we have to adres this issue en try to resolve it so all templates (1.5) can be used.
