Hi, one particular song is making this error message and messing with page display:

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 5 SQL=SELECT s.name, al.name as album_name, ar.letter, ar.artist_name FROM #__muscol_songs as s LEFT JOIN #__muscol_albums as al ON al.id = s.album_id LEFT JOIN #__muscol_artists as ar ON ar.id = al.artist_id WHERE s.id =

you can check this at:

https://allkizomba.com/pt/musiccollection/n/nellson-one/dope-kizomba-ep/so-voce

i saw other post from a user with the exact same problem and i too have sh404sef enabled. I have purged urls and joomla cache too with no avail.

My guess is something related with sh404sef plugin?

Thanks 4 Support

Yes the URL exists and the page works but with that nasty 1064 error.

    If you visit this album:

    https://allkizomba.com/en/n/nellson-one/dope-kizomba-ep

you will find that if you click on each songs page, one song show without errors and the rest is showing with errors.

Really strange and i can'y find any reason for this.

Any update on this? I've been testing with different id3 tags / file names but i get the same error.

It seems that is something to the music file itself.

I'm just waiting for this to be solved to go live.

    Thanks

there's some problem with your site's SEF. the requests are failing internally (no only in our component). this can be seen in the javascript console.
if you DISABLE the sef extension for music collection, does it work?

Can you please make those tests in my site? i've sent you my credentials. I think we will get no where with this back and forth as i don't have the expertise to know what's causing the problem.

If i had to guess would be the sh404sef plugin.

Because if i use the joomla router (in sh4040sef configuration/by component) I don't get those errors. When i set "use component plugin if available" i get these errors.

Also i've lost some of the modules on the front page aren't showing any data.

you are loading modules in a very strange way.

you have a module that loads another module using the loadposition instructions

this is very bad idea. your modules not loading probably is because of this. why won't you load the module directly?

This is a solution i came up to deal with multi language presentation.

I'm using a plugin called Multi Languages CK where i set a module/page to all languages and i can show only the text from the respective language (it's a tag system). The problem with this is that the Module Name field has a limited number of characters so i can't use this solution because sometimes is too long.

I also don't want to repeat some module 4 times, one for each language because if i want to change some parameter i need to do this 4 times.

Since the Titles are static, i make 4 module one for each language all pointing to the actual module i want to show. Now when i want to change one parameter i can change only one module and the change is presented in all languages.

In my tests, these module inside module don't make any problem with js. The problem only happens when i enable sh404SEF using the MC plugin. So again the SH404SEF plugin is the culprit.

then there's something wrong with the SH404SEF plugin. Please, uninstall it because it's not working on your site.
This way, the normal built-in routing will be used.

    Hi, thanks for your answer.

When the plugin works is just the way i want url's to be. I noticed other user having the exact same problem so i guess maybe is an version incompatibility? It seems that your plugin is outdated somehow.

Would you care to consider to fix your plugin in order to work with the latest version of both MC and sh404sef?

Please mind that i bought sh404sef specifically because it's advertised on your site that it would be compatible and i really don't like they way native routing works, i like the way your plugin handles it (when it works of course).

If this is not in your plans could you at least send me a quote to fix it on my website?

    hello

to be fair, you have been asking more questions than anyone else in this forum.
I have answered you tons of questions. I think it can be considered "normal" that a couple questions just went "under the radar" and I didn't get the notification email, so I didn't answer, that's all. When I'm notified, I answer. I didn't follow up because I had no email on this thread from your last post.

I there other/better way i can get support? Via direct mail perhaps? I thought this wss the only way to get support.

Regarding you mention i've been asking more questions than anyone else. Is your support limited by the number or frequency of posts? If so, do you have any support product i can subscribe to not be limited?

Please mind that most of my posts have been made because i've encountered bugs and not only i need them solved, i thought you would be thankful for having someone pointing those to you.

    Thanks
