not able to add songs

hey can anyone help me out in this issue.
i successfully created new artist and album. but i m facing an issue when adding songs to it. Well, my parameter settings indicate that my songs folder is /songs, but when i add a song, it gets uploaded in my root, whereas the player searches for it in the songs folder. Any ideas where i m going wrong?

    hello!

    please check your parameters again and hit SAVE. make sure the songs server parameter is EMPTY, and the songs path parameter is "/songs"

    thanks dude.
    worked like a charm.
    But now i m facing a new issue. Even though I add the songs, it does not show the mp3 songs in my FTP client whereas it shows the mp3 when i access it from my site control panel DBadmin. Do i have to change any more settings.
