Hello I am trying to find cloud server for playing and downloading my mp3 and clips.


DROPBOX TEST:

Today I start to test it with Dropbox.

Coudl you look attached file please?
I made something but player can play this song and if you click to download button dropbox website opening on same windows.


CLOUD MAIL.RU TEST

I am trying to add same box on admin panel album-songs tab and it is again not playing or downloading.

So I think this extension doesn't support file or I made mistake.

Could you tell me what I need to do exactly for using external server (Cloud media)

    hello,

    the problem is that the DROPBOX link is NOT a direct link to the song. it is a link to a PAGE to download the song, but it's not a link to the song itself...

    same think with the other link, it's not a DIRECT link...

    Ok. It is not direct link to the song but can we create some custom modification for second link?

    Please research something and found solution for me :)
    If possible I want to do this customization.

    Because if it is work with mail.ru cloud service it is good for us.

    it's not about customization... the only option the player can actually "stream" a song is if it has direct access to the path of the song, the actual file..

    in the mail.ru link you sent us, it's the same as dropbox (not a direct link).

    can you ask mail.ru people how to get a direct link to the file?

    Ok I will ask to people.

    Because it is very important for us.
    We have 200K - 300K follower at social media
    So if I will share something on social media, minimum 25.000 - 30.000 person click our website link.

    2 days before we opened our website to public visiting and just share one link to 140.000 follower, they attack to our website :)
    And our website can't open 2-3 hours.

    So we have to found solution for move all mp3 and clips to another cloud area.

    For us, mail.ru doesn't important we can use another cloud service (free/paid not important) but I need to know which cloud service we should use.

    By the way,
    Yes this extension is excellent but, I think joomlathat search for all customer for better cloud service. It is good for not only me, for everybody who using this extension.

    better late than never ;)

    Dropbox free account can be used for streaming music via music collection and jw player.

    You only need to convert Dropox share link to direct link.

    There are online tools to do that.

    for example: http://www.syncwithtech.org/p/direct-download-link-generator.html

    then put that link in song fiield named file in album/songs tab in Music Collection and that is all
