How to associate a contact with a unique ID and make it searchable? Task

I want to be able to give my contacts in the contact section of invoice manager a unique ID and have that ID searchable. This way I can associate my customers with some sort of customer ID.

Is this possible in invoice manager?

    Hello,

    This is not directly possible, it will require a bit of coding, to add this field into the Contact profile/database, and make it searchable.
