Hello Support,
i have a few questions about the CS package we just bought for one of our customers. We specifically have it linked to easyblog to show its statistics.
an overview on installed (and activated) downloads:
Content Statistics plugin - plg_contentstats_3.0.0_3.x.zip
Content Statistics - component com_contentstats_2.0.0_3.x.zip
Notifications plugin - plg_system_csnotifications_1.0.0_3.x.zip
Map module - mod_content_statistics_map_1.7.0_2.5.zip
Evolution in time (Compare & Individual) module - mod_content_statistics_compare_3.0.0_3.x.zip
Rankings and Lists module - mod_content_statistics_1.6.1_2.5.zip
EasyBlog extension - plg_contentstats_com_easyblog_1.4.1_2.5.zip
- is there some documentation on the settings of the component &modules that's up to date?
- Are there any specifics for Joomla! 3.8.5 or PHP version 5.6.31? This question due to the fact we cannot seem to get the Content Statistics (EVOLUTION IN TIME) module to work properly at all and some function like the Introduction text in the Content Statistics (RANKING) modules.
Hopefully we can have some communication going on these issues.
/regards

0hello,
you can find our documentation in https://www.joomlathat.com/documentation/content-statistics
however there's no pre-configuration needed, it's basically "plug and play". you just install them and enable them and it will start working.
to make graphics, this article will guide you if you have questions: https://www.joomlathat.com/documentation/content-statistics/create-graphic-statistics
(also, of course, just ask me any question you may have)
if you have problems with those modules, if you want, please send me a screenshot of the module configuration and I'll take a look. -

0Hi there and thanx for the reply.
We ofc already read the page on making the first module which is about a older version i assume as current interface is totally different. We have all downloaded packages installed and working it seems, the component shows us easyblog entries and more, the modules are working and we have made a test page with the modules.
but there's just some inconsistencies with the modules.
As example the intro text works for the evolution in time module, but not for the ranking module.
The evolution in time module doesn't show any data in the graph even tho we selected the random data entry option. (attachement screenshot provided) -

0hello,
thanks. the problem with the Evolution module is that it is giving an error on the load data instruction.
it must be related to something in the PHP version... (I don't get this in my installation)
I guess there's no way you can grant me limited FTP access (only to this module files) so I can make a couple tests? -

0of course it's easy for me, that's not the point. I am the developer of this sofware I have tested in literally hundreds of Joomla and PHP installations, and what I'm telling you is that I don't get the same error that you get, that's why I think it has to be related to some specific configuration on your server (which I can't replicate, because I don't know what it is..)
that's why I ask to test it directly on your server, only there can I find out what's causing this.. do you know what I mean? -
