I am looking at Content Statistics for logging the usage of the Joomla administrator by a team of administrators. However quite a few of the components we use are not included for monitoring with Content Statistics. How hard is it to write plugins to monitor the usage of other components? Do you have a guide I can read through?

    hello,

well, it depends on the components, really. it depends on wether they have an accessible API or not. If they have, a plugin can be made with a bit of work.
if they don't, well, a plugin can still be made, but it's more difficult.

we don't have any public developer guide for this, sorry, because it really depends on each extension.

in any case, our Custom Coding Service can develop custom plugins for you if you're interested.

which extensions are you looking to monitor?

The major components not already covered by the software are:

    Edocman
    Event Booking
    FlexBanners
    JDonation
    Membership Pro
    RSForm! Pro

There are a few others possibly as well, but those are the most important for us.

I see. Well, as you said, we don't have plugins for these, and one plugin would need to be created for each one, to monitor specific actions.

You mentioned your Custom Coding Service. How much does that cost per plugin? Just trying to cage that cost versus my time figuring it out.
