Hi,
Nowhere in the installation guide does it say to install com_contentstats_X.X.X.zip, so is this important and if so, how does it function?
I can't find this in the documentation anywhere, please point me in the right direction

this component is the one that will show you all activity logs on the backend, see more info here: http://www.joomlacontentstatistics.com/supported-extensions
